Details on GDP Annual Meeting Set
Global Dairy Platform’s first-ever Annual Meeting will take place on Monday, 1 October 2007, at The Burlington Hotel, in Dublin, Ireland, from 8 a.m. to noon. The meeting will coincide with the World Dairy Summit of the International Dairy Federation to be held at the same hotel.

Kicking off the meeting will be a reception and buffet at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, 30 September, at the 18th century Old Jameson Distillery, allowing a relaxed meeting point for industry leaders. Showcasing one of Ireland’s oldest traditions, the Old Jameson Distillery will provide a guided tour, whiskey-tasting, delicious buffet dinner and Irish entertainment. Transport will be provided from the hotel to the event, located about 15 minutes away. Sponsoring this event is Rabobank. Don’t miss it!
At the GDP Annual Meeting, members will have the opportunity to identify the most critical issues to address as an organisation in 2008 in the communication, scientific and regulatory areas. “As the world’s dairy industry leaders, each of our members is critically important to GDP’s future direction”, said Kevin Bellamy, GDP Executive Director. “At a time of unprecedented optimism for dairy worldwide, we are looking forward to this unique meeting to agree on collective promotion”.
Registration deadline is 7 September 2007.
