Global Dairy Platform’s web portal has received a significant upgrade to its look and feel. We are working toward a robust site that serves as a comprehensive resource to review current and past research on various subjects, while providing a toolbox of evidence-based messages and information for marketers and regulatory staff.

The research database will soon expand in size through the leadership of Doug DiRienzo of Dairy Management Inc., along with Alison Darragh (Fonterra), Borge Dueholm (Arla Foods), Angela Rowan (Fonterra), Dave Welde (Dairy Farmers of America), Jan Steijns (Campina), Joerg Seifert (International Dairy Federation), Maria Lennernas (Swedish Dairy Board), Merete Myrup Christiansen (Arla Foods), and Greg Miller (Dairy Management Inc.). They have been reviewing the format of the research database to provide users with the most efficient and effective way of displaying current and past research on a particular subject.

In addition, GDP’s newest staff member, Chris Portele, will manage the database and initially invest time populating it, while consulting with members to ensure that the database is as effective as possible.
